PREPARING A PLACEMAT AND A BOOKMARK

The  first  gradres prepared a mini project  after finishing learning the ABC`s. They made a bookmark . and wrote their names in English 

Another project that of the 1st graders prepared is a placemat of words we have studied in class such as: family members, colors, body parts and so on regardind the familiar songs they already know from our English lessons.

The second graders studied new vocabulry through songs and games and even started reading and identifying these words. We decided to prepare a placemat that includes some of the words we have learnt during our lessons. For example: seasons, days of the week, prepositions of place, body parts,animals, colors and etc.

The 3rd graders studied the the topic of animals and friendship.  The assignment was to choose two rival animals in nature that do not get along with each other and prepare a model in which those two animals are presented in a friendly setting. 

BUILDING OUR  HOUSE – THE 4TH GRADERES

The 4th graders studied the topic of "rooms in the house and furniture". They were requested to form a model of a house from different materials and write for each room its name in English and the furnitures in it. They preformed creativity and the ability to match learned new words to their meaning in a different unique way. Another subject that the 4th graders learned this year is "The Weather". They studied the vocabulary and some songs and to sum up the topic they prepared a model of one of the seasons they chose. The outcome was lovely.

One of the many subjects that the 5th graders studied at "HaGeffen" School  was "The Family" and "Ground Rules". We combined the two to present each pupil`s ground rules at home.
